The Water Quality Monitoring Plan of the Taichung City Water Environment Improvement Project in 2019

This plan seeks subsidies from the Environmental Protection Agency to jointly implement the water quality monitoring of the relevant water environment improvement projects in the city, including Liuchuan, Luchuan, Hanxi drainage, Huilai system (Huilai Creek and Chaoyang Creek) and Fazi Creek. 5 rivers and drainage. The monitoring started in May, and the water quality from May to November and the second-season sediment sampling analysis (June and August), two flow observations (July and November), 24 mobile pH monitoring stations, and turbidity have been completed. Mobile real-time monitoring 32 times, and the river water pollution index (RPI) is used to assess the degree of river water pollution. Based on the analysis of the monthly average of the RPI of each station this year, Liuchuan is moderately polluted in each month; Luchuan is mildly polluted in July and moderately polluted in other months; Huilai Creek is moderately polluted; Chaoyang Creek is all polluted. It is moderately polluted, but the RPI value is very close to serious pollution; dry stream drainage is mildly polluted except in September, and the remaining months are all moderately polluted; Fazixi has decreased month by month, from moderately polluted to lightly polluted.
